The company: First Utility (Now Shell Energy)

The challenge: The company had managed to secure some air time on a radio station to advertise its broadband package. The short ad needed to convey the internet service’s unique selling point in a memorable way.

My impact: My initial nuanced run at this didn’t go down particularly well and was deemed ‘not annoying/catchy enough for radio’. I had another go at this, determined to create the most annoying thing I have ever written. It hit the memorable mark, was recorded, and went on air across multiple days.
